Logan was worried. It was four o'clock and there was still no sign of Hasan. Andoh and the Monteverde contingent had agreed it was best to postpone any meeting until Hasan turned up again and Logan conceded that it looked as though something had indeed happened to his erstwhile gadfly.
When Bill returned from the embassy, they had talked to the hotel staff, who were obligingly checking with hospitals and the police. Logan also considered contacting the airport to see if Hasan had, in fact, fled the country, but was not sure how to go about it.
