Logan sat in the hotel dining room, morosely finishing his breakfast coffee and waiting for his colleagues to appear. While he and Bill had stuffed themselves with sushi as planned, after the obligatory call to Aubrecht, they had settled for a nightcap in the hotel bar and retiring early instead of carousing.

Logan was feeling uncomfortable about the cost of a trip which seemed as though it would generate very little in income for Grey, Alcott. Hasan didn't drink and Bill, having counted his chickens before they were hatched, was depressed about the effect on his bonus if the bond transaction were not completed.
