Hasan was beaming just like a game show host, thought Logan.

Hasan, Bill and Logan were waiting in a small conference room in the hotel for the arrival of Hirofumi Andoh, Ogata's assistant.

When Andoh arrived, promptly at four o'clock, Logan was surprised at how young he was, certainly younger than himself and Bill. He was also impressed that his English, though somewhat labored, was easily intelligible. He was dressed with great propriety in a gray suit, white shirt and a dark blue tie with so subdued a pattern that Logan had difficulty determining whether it was paisley or foulard.
