Alex walked quickly into Brian's office.

"What have you got that's so important, Boyle-me-boyo?"

"This just came in from Tokyo. I thought you'd be interested."

Alex took the fax which Brian held out to him. It was a brief newspaper article which reported on the attack at the Kanto Camera compound.

The paper stated that the police presumed the motive for the break-in was robbery, that the man who the women had thought was a Kanto chauffeur was actually Itoh's personal security guard, and that the dead man was a known criminal with underworld connections. No trace had been found of the second intruder and, with his partner dead, it was possible he would elude investigators.
