"And are they?"

Bill was curious.

"Who knows. He's only been here two months, but he's the most amazingly oblivious egotist I've ever encountered. I'm trying to wrap the Cartwright management buyout and he keeps plaguing me about his miserable bond."

"A bond? What's the deal? Why you?"

"That's what I've been asking myself. Why me? Hussain claims the bond is private placement Japanese government debt. It's physical, doesn't trade, and the owner's worried that if anyone finds out he's trying to unload it, he'd be considered unpatriotic, with devastating results to his career as a real estate developer."

"I should think anyone with a career as a Japanese real estate developer would already be in difficulties."

"You're right, which is why he needs to liquidate the bond."
