Long Island Expressway, Queens
Logan was careful not to let the Porsche go more than sixty-five miles an hour as he crossed the border between Nassau County and Queens. While there were probably not many police cars on patrol at six a.m. on a Monday morning, he wanted to avoid a speeding ticket if he could. The insurance on the car was high enough already.
He glanced at the tan, shapely leg of the brunette beside him, who had lifted her limb to study the hot pink nail polish adorning her toes. Missy, no, Melissa, had been a fellow guest at a weekend house party hosted by Nick and Hannah Sloan, owners of the Memphis Modeling Agency and one of Logan's clients at Grey, Alcott.
Melissa was one of their current hot models and, having admired her swimsuit-clad figure as it lay beside the pool all weekend, Logan had willingly agreed to take her back into the city with him for an early morning shoot.
